This is a cordial invite to attend our upcoming Return To Driving session on Wednesday 18th September presented by Amanda Carter & Kim Mestroni from the Department of Transport & Planning (DTP). Amanda is a qualified OT Driving Assessor & is a key member of the DTP Medical Review team, who review all cases for the medical review licensing decisions. Kim is from the Road Safety Victoria team that establishes policy for all licensing in Victoria, including medical review policy. We are very fortunate to have key members of the DTP to provide an in-depth session on return to driving, which is very pertinent for our rehabilitation patient cohort.
There will also be an interactive portion of the presentation, which will present a few case scenarios. Participants will be split into groups in virtual breakout rooms (for 5-10 minutes) to discuss their assigned case. Participants will then return to the main room & a nominated member will present their groups response to the case (patient) & their management to the panel, which includes our presenters, Amanda & Kim, in addition to RMTV team members.
