RMTV Training Session – Wednesday 13th January 2021, 3pm: Medical Administration by Dr Mark Lubliner & Dr Michael Ponsford via Zoom ONLY!

News

Dear All,

I hope you have all enjoyed some time off to celebrate with family and friends over the past few weeks. We are ready to begin proceedings for 2021 in style this coming week!

In light of the recheduled AFRM exams, RMTV are beginning their 2021 training calendar this coming Wednesday in an effort to provide as many valuable training sessions for all (but particularly for those preparing for exams this year). Our planning session in October last year sought topics of value and we have tried to conduct as many sessions as possible in early 2021 to assist with your education (and with many trainees exam preparation).

This week, RMTV are proud to present Dr Mark Lubliner (Chief Medical Officer, Austin Health) & Dr Michael Ponsford conduct an interactive session on Medical Administration on Wednesday 13th January@3pm via Zoom. To optimise value for this session, we require participation of trainees/registrars. Dependant on numbers, registrars will be split into “breakout rooms” to discuss ONE of FOUR allocated case scenarios pertaining to medical administration. Cases will be presented to the group at large for discussion with input from Dr Lubliner, Dr Ponsford & Dr Sarah Kofoed.

Dr Lubliner currently lectures in health services management as an Adjunct Associate Professor at Monash University. He has led and implemented board and cross-organisational clinical governance, strategic planning/implementation, enterprise risk management, and clinical transformation programs. He has a keen interest in clinical systems improvement and medical leadership development. We are extremely grateful for his time.
